Seller Guide

We welcome passionate pet product sellers to join the Furrypups community! Here's how to get started:

1. Click the "Start Selling" or "Apply to Sell" button on our site.
2. Fill out the seller application form with your details and the types of products you plan to sell.
3. Our team will review your application — we look for quality, authenticity, and a genuine love for pets.
4. Once approved, you'll receive a confirmation and can start listing your products right away!

Transparency is important to us. Here's how fees work on Furrypups:

• Marketplace commission: Furrypups charges a 10% commission on the sale price of each product sold through our marketplace.
• Platform fee: District charges a 5% platform fee on the sale price of each product.
• Payment processing: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction for credit cards, or 3.49% + $0.49 for PayPal.
• No monthly subscription fee is required to sell on Furrypups.
• Sales tax is calculated, collected, and remitted by District on your behalf where required.

To keep Furrypups a trusted marketplace, please follow these guidelines when listing products:

• Use clear, high-quality photos of your products. Multiple angles are encouraged.
• Write accurate, detailed descriptions including materials, dimensions, and care instructions where applicable.
• Set fair and competitive prices .
• Categorise your products correctly so buyers can find them easily.
• All products must be pet-related — including toys, accessories, grooming essentials, pet art, statues, showpieces, images, and collectibles.
• You must own and physically possess the items you list.

We want every buyer to have a great experience. Sellers are expected to:

• Ship within 3 business days of receiving an order (unless otherwise stated in your listing).
• Use reliable shipping methods with tracking where possible.
• Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit — especially fragile items like statues and showpieces.
• Clearly state shipping costs and estimated delivery times in your listings.
• Furrypups currently serves buyers in the US and Canada .

The following items are not allowed on Furrypups:

• Live animals (most species are prohibited)
• Products derived from endangered or threatened wildlife
• Counterfeit, fake, or replica goods
• Illegal, stolen, or recalled products
• Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or CBD products
• Weapons, firearms, or explosives
• Expired or perishable food items (raw meat, dairy, produce)
• Used cosmetics or personal care applicators
• Adult or explicit content
• Items promoting violence, hatred, or discrimination

Furrypups reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these policies and may suspend or ban sellers who repeatedly breach them.

Furrypups supports live shopping where sellers can showcase products in real time. Here's what to know:

• Livestreams are started from the District mobile app (iPhone or Android).
• You can run live auctions during your streams — viewers bid in real time and the highest bidder wins.
• You can also run giveaways to engage your audience. Giveaways must be free to enter (no pay-to-play).
• Shill bidding (bidding on your own items) is strictly prohibited.
• Use of illegal substances during livestreams is not allowed.
• Be respectful, keep things fun, and follow the community guidelines at all times.
• You can multicast your live shows to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitch simultaneously!
